Job Title: Postdoctoral Position
Employer: Johns Hopkins Medical School, Lieber Institute for Brain Development
Location: Baltimore, Maryland
Description:

A postdoctoral position is available in the Lieber Institute for Brain Development at Johns Hopkins Medical School to study the function of Schizophrenia-associated genes in the developing neocortex. The lab combines molecular biology, in utero electroporation, optogenetics, and electrophysiology to identify how alterations in expression level or mutations in schizophrenia-associated genes alter cortical development and synaptic function.

Requirements:

The laboratory seeks an applicant to perform experiments using brain slice electrophysiology and advanced molecular biology. Experience in electrophysiology is preferred, but not required, if applicant has a strong desire to acquire electrophysiology training.
