Job Title: Staff Associate-Officer of Research: Psychiatry

Description:

Under the responsibility of the co-investigator, and the lab manager, the staff associate will work on the Promise Project. Responsibilities will include recruiting and screening participants, confirming participant diagnoses with outside clinicians, contacting participants to schedule follow-ups, coordinating data collection procedures, preparing files for data entry, managing IRB amendments application and renewals and maintaining IRB records, scheduling scan day (participants, scan times, and staff), bringing participants and their families through the scan day (consent forms, paperwork, explaining MRI procedures, pregnancy tests, MRI scan, etc.), conducting research diagnostic interviews using semi-structured instruments, scoring tests, entering data, performing neuropsychological and other behavioral assessments and assisting with elementary steps in image processing. Performing other duties as assigned.

This is a 100 percent donor-funded position. The project period is November 1, 2013-October 31, 2014. It will be renewed for one more year upon donor funding. Click here for more information on our lab.

Hours Per Week: 35
Salary Grade: Staff Associate
Salary Range: $45,101 per year

Requirements:

Required Minimum Qualifications:
Requires a master degree in Psychology, Neuroscience or related area.

Additional Position-Specific Minimum Qualifications:
Excellent interpersonal skills. Mandatory weekend/ holiday coverage as scheduled on a rotating basis.

Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with recruitment, IRB, neuropsychological and other behavioral assessments
