Geisinger Health System (GHS) is seeking postdoctoral
fellows for the Geisinger-Bucknell Center for Autism
Research and Treatment. The research program is focused on
the etiology and treatment of neurodevelopmental disorders.
Geisinger-Bucknell Center for Autism Research and
Treatment, an integrated, interdisciplinary center for
diagnosis, treatment, research and training, is located in
Lewisburg, PA near Bucknell University and 10 miles from
Geisinger Medical Center (GMC) in Danville, PA.
Geisinger Health System is one of the nationís leading,
fully integrated health services organizations. Pediatric
services include a full complement of medical and surgical
subspecialists based at Janet Weis Childrenís Hospital
(JWCH), a full-service, 89-bed childrenís hospital adjacent
Fellows will work with an interdisciplinary team of
neurodevelopmental pediatricians, neuroradiologists,
developmental psychologists, neuroscientists, and
geneticists in a coordinated, translational effort into the
identification, classification, intervention, and treatment
of neurodevelopmental disorders including autism spectrum
disorders, and intellectual disabilities/developmental delay.
Clinical research opportunities and clinical supervision
are available. Opportunities for teaching experience are
available through Bucknell University.
