Our laboratory is broadly interested in preclinical
genes involved in human mood disorders and drugs used to
treat these conditions (see www.gouldlab.org).
additional techniques may include immunohistochemistry,
PCR, Western blot, electrophysiology, and pharmacogenetics.
Past experience in behavioral neuroscience is preferred and
strong writing and communication skills and proficiency in
English is required. Experience with some of the other
techniques discussed above will be helpful, but not required.
The successful candidate will play a lead role in designing
and executing projects, writing publications and grants, and
presenting data at professional conferences. Salary will be
based on experience.
