Description:

We are seeking a scientist to join Neuroscience drug discovery. Within this group, we are focused on developing therapies for neuropathic pain, schizophrenia, depression, and Alzheimer’s disease. This scientist will contribute to electrophysiology efforts across the portfolio with a particular emphasis on neuropathic pain. Responsibilities include managing a group of 1-3 scientists.

Requirements:

Ph.D. in biochemistry, pharmacology, or neuroscience with at least 3 years of relevant post-doctoral and/or industry experience that includes a robust publication record. An understanding of electrophysiology and neuropathic pain are essential. Experience with high throughput methods for ion channel characterization, in vivo electrophysiology, translational assays, and research in AD, schizophrenia, or depression would be valuable. Strong oral and written communication skills and a desire to work in a team environment are essential.
