Job Title: Assistant Professor in Basic Psychological Processes

Description:

The Department of Psychology at the University of Pennsylvania invites applications for a tenure-track assistant professor appointment in basic psychological processes to begin 1 July 2013 at the earliest. The successful candidate is expected to establish an externally funded research program and participate in undergraduate and graduate teaching.

Requirements:

We are particularly interested in scientists who study one or more of the areas of perception, attention, learning, and memory in humans or other animals. In addition, scientists whose research includes methods drawn from the subfields cognitive neuroscience, systems neuroscience, and/or computational modeling will be attractive.

Applications should be submitted online and include a curriculum vitae, research statement, and the contact information for three individuals who will be contacted by the University with instructions on how to submit a letter of recommendation. Review of applications will begin 15 October 2012 and will continue until the position is filled.
