Description:	The National Center of Neurology and Psychiatry seeks to hire a Postdoctoral Scientist in Electrophysiology in the Department of Neurophysiology within the National Institute of Neuroscience. The position is available in the lab of Kazuhiko Seki, Ph.D. Dr. Seki's research group is exploring the function of spinal and supraspinal systems for the control of voluntary movement and sensation using nonhuman primate. Ongoing works in Dr. Seki's group include 1) neural mechanism of sensorimotor gating, 2) neural correlate of muscle synergy and its descending control, and 3) restoring upper arm movement by intraspinal microstimulation. The position will be offered for a period of 3 years starting immediately.
Requirements:	The successful applicant should have a Ph.D. in a neuroscience, engineering, biology, or medical-related field, and prior experience with electrophysiology is required.
