The Glasgow Psychosis Research Network (GPRN) is an interdisciplinary initiative led by the University of Glasgow, University of Strathclyde and Greater Glasgow and Clyde NHS that brings together academic and clinical researchers from diverse backgrounds to build a unique platform for innovative, cross-cutting, state-of-the-art psychosis research. Together, GPRN aims to improve the understanding of schizophrenia and bipolar disorder for better treatment and care as well as to promote recovery.
The Network has established collaborative links between internationally recognized researchers to strengthen interactions between academic research, clinical services and industry. GPRN includes researchers in preclinical neuroscience, brain imaging, genetics, clinical psychology, psychiatry and epidemiology which forms the basis of this unique interdiscplinary collaboration designed to drive forward mental health research.
