The 8th European Congress on Violence will focus strongly on new clinically relevant and practically useful interdisciplinary interventions aiming at treating and reducing violent behavior of psychiatric patients, forensic patients and severe problem behavior in persons with intellectual disability, hence, the overall congress theme "new horizons in interdisciplinary approaches."

Abstract submission deadline has been extended to 1 August 2013.
