Animal Model: Heterozygous Nurr1 KO
Preparation Type: Genetic Preparations
DA-related behavior: Hyperactive in novel environment and also after amphetamine
Cognitive behavior: Decreased emotional memory
Molecular/morphological signature: Reduced DA turnover in striatum; Increased DA turnover in PFC
Response to APD: Haloperidol reverses spontaneous hyperactivity
