  I recommend this paper

LPS triggers the innate immune system. This study links neonatal exposure to LPS and alterations in parvalbumin positive cells in the hippocampus. Once again, we are reminded of the crosstalk between immune pathways and brain development (Perry and O'Connor, 2008).
