Abstract
The use of PCP/amphetamine-induced hyperlocomotion in rats is probably insufficient to conclusively state whether a novel compound has antipsychotic potential or not. A more comprehensive battery of tests, including, perhaps, PPI and social interaction, would provide a clearer picture.
